Fixed Gear in Tokyu Hands
2009/08/08
Hi everyone, isn't it cool to ride in the summer time? It's been a while I posted some fixed gear stuff around here...
Well for now, nothing crazy, just few shots I took in a department store. Yes, in Japan we can find fixies in department stores!
Tokyu Hands (name of the chain) has an average good bike corner usually.
These photos were taken in the Yokohama store.
Right now they mainly sell some Bianchi and the Fuji Feather, the same model I bought at the beginning of the year.
They sell it for about 71000 yens.
The Bianchi is sold for 76000 yens.
Then they have few other models a little more pricey.
Like this Rocky mountain.
Parts :
I am thinking to change my saddle for a white one...
I like the Regal one in the background but maybe for now I will go for a DIY method and just cover the one I have now with a piece of leather.
If you are into messenger bags they also have some choice as you can see...
Yes you can even buy a copy of Fast Friday! Not bad for a store who sells also dishes, furniture and anything you need in a house...
Not really related, I found this paper bag : Tintin on a fixed gear in China! (if you know the comic (The blue Lotus - 1936), you should know that he is not good at it as he crashes himself soon after...)
