Triathlon bike almost completed. Just need to cut the fork top and add some bar tape. If you have a good eye you can see some very vintage part on it (for now). Guess which is it?

First ride in 2 weeks because of a cold, bronchitis and typhoon. Big lack of power. Took a break to buy a cake from @machayokan & Mari chan at the market near the lake.
Now I have 10 days to prepare Taiwan triathlon, a 5h more or less race. Needless to say : impossible mission... But let's try.

And Taro is back to its owners after 8 days! Glad they can be together again but we got used to him in a week and so are a bit samishii (sad). Maybe I will pick him sometimes for a walk :-)

Despite a superbe weather I can't ride because of a cold which sucks as I should be training for Taiwan half-ironman in 3 weeks. But at least I can finish to build my new dream bike. It's going to be awesome. @planetxbikes exocet 2 frame, TokyoWheel Epic, ProfileDesign at the front and bottle cage, ISM Adamo saddle and Ultegra Shimano.

50 years ago on this day started the Tokyo Summer Olympics. That was a good choice. Next Tokyo Olympics will take place in the middle of summer which is really stupid.

This morning we did our first paraglide "flights". Here is @machayokan at her 3rd try! This initiation was better than I thought except for the part when we had to climb the dune each time to the start carrying the paraglide :-)

End of grape harvest season here. We helped my in laws to uncover the green house and picked the last grapes :-)

Sum-up of the w-e : . We swam in Kojima boat race 'stadium' : ideal place for a tri : sea water and no waves. Then a selective bike course and run towards Jeans street. We got the most awesome transition bag made of Momotaro jeans! I finished 37/526. Happy with that too. 14/139 in age group (30-40). Next year I ll be in the 40-50 group! ...

I am on a bus that is driving us through tomorrow's bike course of Kurashiki triathlon (first time I have this service on a triathlon). This course is a monster! I will be by far the hardest one for me on a triathlon! Long climbs and quite high and lots lots of turns. Wow that's going to be something... :-)
